ALS Olympics Invisible Person Event III

Hello, the ALS Olympics hostage situation was resolved about 4:30 PM today at the local Wal-Mart on Challenger Blvd. The gunman who was holding three Wal-Mart employees and 15 customers hostage was subdued by police thanks to the courageous efforts of one of the hostages. The hostage, whose name is not being released, is a former Wal-Mart employee. Witnesses indicate this gentleman started a one way conversation with the gunman about 1:30 PM. The conversation continued for approximately 3 hours with the hostage rambling on about meaningless trivia and long-lost friends with the gunman basically only answering yes or no to occasional questions from the hostage. About 4:30 PM it was noted that the gunman was collapsed in his wheelchair and snoring. Police were immediately alerted and apprehended the gunman, although he was seen to still be asleep as he was wheeled away into a police vehicle. It appears the gunman was the victim of a common ALS symptom known as daytime sleepiness which was further intensified by his being subjected to the boring and long winded conversation with the hostage.Wal-Mart in appreciation of its former employee's courageous effort, has rewarded the man with a year's supply of its best-selling item, the Oscar Mayer $.99 bologna value pack.As a result of this unfortunate situation the ALS invisible person event has been rescheduled for a future date.Best regards,DickStrength and HonorWhat We Do In This Life Echoes Through Eternity!Website: http://web.alsa.org/goto/richardkelley.Twitter At: FRE2TRINext ALS Event: Lake Norman Triathlon, Cornelius, North Carolina, August 22.Message Composed With Mac Dictate Software
